E-ticketing continues to expand territory to ease passengers’ travel in metro as non-cash payment service pilots in Beijing rail transit network in 55 stations
Starting from August 10, 2019, 55 stations in Beijing rail transit network will pilot non-cash payment services as notified by Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport. Passengers could use mobile phone to pay for fare via Wechat and Alipay by scanning QR code. This service commences to fulfill the needs of passengers on mobile payment of ticketing service, and to provide better travel experience and to further improve the service standard of Beijing rail transit operation. By the end of August, the non-cash payment service will roll out in all lines and stations in Beijing rail transit network.
