With the approaching of the flood season of Beijing this year (June 1 to September 15), BJMTR starts flood prevention work in advance in response to the heavy rain that may occur during flood season such as making sure the flood control and rescue personnel and materials are in place, carrying out and strengthening flood control emergency drills and training.

In order to implement the deployment of Beijing Covid-19 epidemic prevention work, to reduce the waiting time of passengers in line, and to improve the travel efficiency, Beijing Rail Transit Command Center actively responded to the work requirements of the comprehensive upgrading of the Beijing public transport ticketing system, and organized relevant units to review AFC system to realize the automatic association of boarding code, physical card and health code information, and the automatic verification of passengers when they pass the gate.

The May Day holiday in 2022 starts on April 30 and ends on May 4. During the holiday, lines operated by BJMTR carried a total of 1.969 million passenger trips. Among them, the patronage of Line 4-Daxing is 1.097 million, the patronage of Line 14 is 639,000, the patronage of Line 16 is 175,000, and the patronage of Line 17 is 58,000.

The May Day holiday of 2022 will start from Saturday, April 30 and end on Wednesday, May 4. During the holiday, the main passenger flow is for outing or shopping.

From April 24 to May 22, BJMTR together with the Publishers Association of China and the National Library jointly launches the 21st M ·Library themed reading promotion event.

Starting from April 22, the last train of Line 14 on Friday and Saturday extends operation time in both directions. At the same time, diversified interactions will be carried out with the business circles, communities and passengers along the line to enrich the travel experience of passengers and help the high-quality economic development of Chaoyang district, promoting the connectivity of business circles along Line 14 .
