The 2025 New Year's Day holiday (January 1) is on a Wednesday. It is expected that on the day before the holiday (December 31) and the holiday itself, there will be a slight increase in passenger flow at stations near popular scenic spots and business districts.

On December 15th, 2024, BJMTR, in collaboration with the Hong Kong (Regional) Chamber of Commerce, jointly hosted a special BJMTR STEAM interdisciplinary education event. The event invited around 50 young participants from both Beijing and Hong Kong to explore the metro.

On December 4th and 5th, 2024, the BJMTR Safety Training Camp visited Beijing Daxing District Yonghua Experimental Primary School and Beijing Fengtai District Taipingqiao Primary School to hold two events themed "Metro Safety in Schools, Journeying with a Child’s Heart for Civilized Travel." Through the teaching of simple, catchy safety slogans and engaging science experiments, students were able to learn metro safety and civilized travel in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

BJMTR has recently launched a breakfast service at 20 stations on Line 4, Daxing Line, Line 14, and Line 16, providing passengers with a wider range of breakfast options to enhance their commuting experience.

On December 3, 2024, on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, BJMTR, in collaboration with the Beijing Accessible Environment Construction Promotion Center, conducted the "Travel with Love, Travel Companionship" employee service training.

On November 9th, the M-Arts themed event, "Beautiful Journey, Every Trip – BJMTR Primary and Secondary School Public Art Exhibition," officially launched at the National Library Station on Line 16 and the Taiyanggong Station on Line 17 of BJMTR.
