The May Day holiday in 2024 starts on May 1 (Wednesday) and ends on May 5 (Sunday). During the holiday, lines operated by BJMTR carried a total of 9.565 million passenger trips. Among which, the patronage of Line 4-Daxing is 5.089 million, the patronage of Line 14 is 2.797 million, the patronage of Line 16 is 1.214 million, the patronage of south section of Line 17 is 0.242 million and the patronage of north section of Line 17 is 0.223 million.

The 2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the "Auto Show") will be held from April 25 to May 4 at the China International Exhibition Center, Shunyi and Chaoyang Halls.

To enhance the understanding and support of adolescent passengers for safe and courteous metro travel, on April 20, BJMTR invites more than 70 middle school students to participate in the "BJMTR Safety Camp Metro Doctor" career experience activity.

During the tomb-sweeping holiday of 2024 (April 4 to April 6), the total patronage of lines operated by BJMTR totals 5.368 million, seeing a year-on-year increase of 28% compared to 2023. During the tomb-sweeping holiday, a total of 5,292 trains were dispatched. Among them, patronage of Line 4-Daxing is 2.685 million; patronage of Line 14 is 1.682 million; patronage of Line 16 is 737,000; patronage of the south section of Line 17 is 138,000 and patronage of the north section of Line 17 is 126,000.

To enhance the safety awareness of children, BJMTR and the Maquanying Police Station of the Beijing Municipal Public Transport Corps jointly organized the "Metro Safety Guard" career experience activity of the Safety Camp.

The tomb-sweeping holiday of 2024 will start on April 4 (Thursday) and end on April 6 (Saturday). During the holidays, the main passenger flow is for tomb-sweeping and outing. According to passenger flow, it is expected that some tourist attractions and stations near cemeteries will see an increase in passenger traffic.
