On August 31, 2019, Beijing rail transit commences the non-cash payment service across the entire network. Passengers could use WeChat and Alipay to purchase, adjust and recharge tickets at customer service centers, ticket vending machines and online ticket pick-up machines in all 22 lines and 391 stations, so as to enjoy more convenient ticketing service.
