The summer travel season of 2021 will start from July 1 and end on August 31, a total of 62 days. About 120 million passengers are expected to travel on lines operated by BJMTR during this year's summer holiday, seeing a substantial increase compared to the summer passenger flow in 2020.
Patronage of Line 4 and Daxing Line is expected to reach 68.25 million, with an average daily patronage of 1.101 million. Patronage of Line 14 is expected to reach 41.537 million, and the average daily patronage is 0.67 million. The patronage of Line 16 is expected to be reach 8.905 million, with an average daily patronage of 144,000.
During the summer, BJMTR will pay close attention to the passenger flow, add temporary trains at appropriate times, and strengthen passenger flow guidance at big passenger flow stations to ensure the safety and smooth travel of passengers.
