The Spring Festival 2022 travel rush starts on January 17 and ends on February 25 with a period of 40 days. During the Spring Festival travel rush, the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games will start on February 4 (Friday) with a period of 16 days. To ensure the safety and stability of the Spring Festival 2022 travel rush and the Winter Olympic Games, BJMTR is ready to prepare additional trains and extend operations time to ensure sufficient transport capacity. At the same time, BJMTR will focus on key stations to ensure smooth transfer of railway station in Beijing for arriving passengers by railway. Stations operated by BJMTR have formulated corresponding measures in advance to ensure operation under large patronage or special weather. The station is optimized as well. For example, the relevant guide signs are posted in the stations near the Winter Olympics venues to ensure travel of passengers during the Winter Olympics and the Spring Festival travel rush.
