Patronage of lines operated by BJMTR expected to reach 5.795 million during May Day holiday

The May Day holiday of 2022 will start from Saturday, April 30 and end on Wednesday, May 4. During the holiday, the main passenger flow is for outing or shopping. It is expected that the patronage of stations around scenic spots and commercial centers such as Beijing Zoo Station, Xidan Station, Yuanmingyuan Park Station, Beigongmen Station of 4-Daxing Line , Dawang Lu Station, Jiulongshan Station of Line 14 and Yuyuantan Park East Gate Station of Line 16 will increase during the holiday. Relevant stations will strengthen communication with surrounding management departments, conduct passenger flow analysis and pre-judgment in advance, and formulate transportation guarantee plans to ensure smooth travel of passengers. Besides, BJMTR scientifically organizes traffic and prepares 1 spare train on the main line of the 4-Daxing Line from April 30 to May 4 so that we can add trains or extend operation time where needed according to the passenger flow situation to ensure sufficient capacity and facilitate the travel of passengers.
