This week is the first week of school, with the addition of commuter and student travel flows. At the same time, it is also during the hosting period of the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS). BJMTR has made early deployments and implemented multiple measures to ensure the safety and smooth travel of passengers.
On September 4th (Monday) during the morning peak hours, BJMTR plans to add 5 additional trains and be prepared for further increases as needed. Meanwhile, a total of 12 spare trains will be stationed at main lines and depots to ensure capacity during off-peak and evening peak hours, ensuring smooth travel for passengers.
For key stations with large patronage and transfers, station staff will be stationed at key locations such as platforms, transfer passages, AFGs, and escalators. They will assist passengers while directing the flow of people. Additionally, each station will conduct functional tests on key operational equipment such as platform screen doors, escalators, and AFG to ensure their proper functioning and reliability. Furthermore, all lines and stations of BJMTR adhere to the principle of "personnel and item inspection" to prevent the entry of prohibited and dangerous items into the stations, ensuring the safety of passengers during their journey.
