The 2025 Spring Festival travel rush will begin on January 14th and end on February 22nd, lasting for 40 days. To ensure smooth travel for passengers, BJMTR has made careful arrangements in passenger flow organization, passenger services, and equipment maintenance. Especially in high-speed rail connections, as well as at stations near tourist attractions and commercial areas, a variety of thoughtful services have been introduced to fully guarantee the smooth travel experience for passengers.
During this period, Beijing South Railway Station on Line 4-Daxing is expected to handle 9.733 million passenger trips, while Fengtai Railway Station on Line 16 is projected to serve 1.303 million passengers. To improve travel efficiency, BJMTR has introduced humanized services such as “Personal Guide,” luggage carts, and “Convenience Box” at high-speed rail connection stations such as Beijing South Railway Station on Line 4-Daxing, Beijing South Railway Station on Line 14, and Fengtai Railway Station on Line 16, to assist passengers in convenient travel.
To further enhance passengers' travel experience during the Spring Festival travel rush, BJMTR continues to introduce meticulous service measures, pilot programs include adding seat cushions at ground stations and providing diverse convenience services to meet passengers’ diverse needs, making their travel comfortable and convenient.
In response to potential snowfall during the travel rush, BJMTR will monitor the impact of adverse weather conditions on operations and implement emergency response measures according to contingency plans. Multiple strategies will be employed to ensure smooth travel for passengers. All engineering teams will strictly carry out equipment maintenance and enhance the upkeep of key facilities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of trains and equipment. Additionally, all BJMTR lines will adhere to the "Simultaneous inspection of individuals and belongings" principle, strengthening efforts to check for flammable, explosive, and prohibited items carried by passengers, ensuring their safety during travel.
