Recently, BJMTR has officially launched smart self-service medication vending machines on the Line 4-Daxing Line. This marks the first introduction of intelligent medical retail service in Beijing’s rail transit system, effectively meeting passengers’ instant health needs during their journeys and providing a more convenient travel experience.
Currently, the first batch of 10 smart self-service medication vending machines has been gradually deployed and launched at 10 key stations along Line 4-Daxing Line. In terms of drug supply, each device can provide more than 40 common over-the-counter (OTC) medications (green label), which are diverse and cover medications for common health needs such as heatstroke prevention and cooling, colds, wound treatment, and digestive issues.
A representative from BJMTR stated that BJMTR is always committed to providing passengers with higher-quality travel services. The newly launched smart self-service medication vending service is another innovation within BJMTR’s passenger convenience service system, following shared lockers and breakfast services. It also marks a key exploration in deepening the "rail transit + healthcare" service model. Moving forward, we will continue to monitor passenger feedback and gradually expand the service scope based on demand and suggestions, constantly improving service quality to provide passengers with higher-quality travel services.
