The 2026 summer travel season ran from July 1 to August 31, lasting 62 days. During this period, BJMTR organized meticulously and made thorough arrangements, from train operation organization and passenger service to equipment maintenance, ensuring passengers enjoyed safe and smooth journeys throughout the 62-day period with round-the-clock dedication.
To help teenagers deepen their understanding of metro knowledge and spark their curiosity in rail transit-related engineering and technology, BJMTR recently joined hands with communities along Lines 17, 14 and Daxing Line to deliver three metro STEAM courses themed around escalators.
On July 29, BJMTR brought its metro safety education summer activities to Taoranting Subdistrict, themed "Safe Escalator Rides, 'Child' in Heart," and unveiled the new original animated series "Jing Tie Zai Safety Mobilization" to promote metro safety knowledge through edutainment. Meanwhile, the company held a "Metro Neighbors Club" session, listening to residents' suggestions through exchanges and dialogue to continuously improve travel services.
