To ensure passengers' safe and smooth travel during this period, BJMTR has meticulously planned and implemented a series of tailored measures. These include optimizing passenger transport organization, extending operating hours, enhancing equipment maintenance, and rolling out multiple considerate services, all dedicated to safeguarding passengers' journeys.
During the 2025 Spring Festival travel rush period (January 28 to February 4), BJMTR's network handled a total of 7.005 million passenger trips, with 13,956 train services operated across all lines. Line 4-Daxing recorded 3.692 million passenger trips, followed by Line 14 with 2.286 million trips, Line 16 with 735,000 trips, the southern section of Line 17 with 135,000 trips, and the northern section of Line 17 with 157,000 trips. BJMTR maintained smooth passenger flow management and operational efficiency throughout the period, ensuring reliable transportation services for holiday travelers.
As the Spring Festival approaches, BJMTR has formulated various operational plans in advance to ensure the safety and smooth travel of passengers, made arrangements for train operations and crowd control at stations with heavy passenger traffic. Additionally, to further enhance the travel experience of passengers during the Spring Festival travel rush, BJMTR has carefully decorated two stations connected to train stations, featuring the theme “The Next Stop, Home,” creating a warm journey home for passengers. At the same time, themed cultural activities are being organized to create a travel environment that is both warm and festive for passengers.
