The 2025 Qingming Holiday will last from Friday, April 4 to Sunday, April 6. As the weather turning warmer, citizens' demand for park visits, scenic tours, and spring outings is increasing, combined with tomb-sweeping passenger flow. BJMTR’s lines are expected to face rising ridership. To ensure passengers’ safe and orderly travel, BJMTR has advanced preparations through dynamically adjusting capacity allocation, strengthening station services, and expanding volunteer service initiatives, fully safeguarding passenger journeys during the holiday.
To ensure effective transport service support for the large-scale event at Workers' Stadium, the station will resume operations during the event period. Both Beijing Subway and BJMTR will further refine support measures, strengthen crowd control efforts, and optimize on-site passenger transport organization. Additional temporary trains will be deployed on key lines as needed to meet passenger demand.
On March 4 and 7, 2025, the BJMTR STEAM Education program entered the Primary School Attached to Capital University of Economics and Business and Beijing Dongcheng District Huimin Primary School bringing the first course of 2025—"Automatic Fare Gate-Cracking Operation"—to over 100 students from the two schools. In line with the 2025 "Back to School" season, BJMTR launched an advanced version of the Metro STEAM curriculum for upper primary students.
