Under the united deployment of Beijing Municipal Communication Committee, the upgrading of station facilities and enhancing of staffing at Beijing South Railway Station of BJL4 to cater to the opening of Beijing – Shanghai High Speed Train at the end of June have been completed. A safe and orderly train service is ensured for the event.
24 entry/exit AFC gates, 10 TVMs and 4 security check machines are added at Beijing South Railway station. The installation, tests and commissioning of these facilities are completed and will be put into use upon the opening of Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Trains.
3 person-to-person ticketing windows are opened at the Customer Service Center at the east side of the station. Together with the 3 windows at the Customer Service Center at the west side of the station now in operation, there will be 6 windows to serve the customer at the time. More staff will be deployed depending on the facilities in use and the passenger flow to ensure the safety of the passengers and a smooth operation.
