Beijing Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "BIIC "), founded in 2003, is a state-owned enterprise solely invested by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality. The company is responsible for infrastructure investment, financing, and management, with a focus on rail transit. Its main businesses include investment and financing, construction management, and operation services for rail transit, land development along rail transit lines, and rail transit equipment manufacturing.
 
BIIC adheres to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and deeply promotes the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the subsequent plenary sessions. The company actively implements the important speeches and instructions from Xi Jinping concerning Beijing, fully and accurately applies the new development philosophy, and steadily advances the strategic implementation of "One Body with Two Wings and Three Major Supports" under the leadership of the Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, and the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, with support from relevant committees and agencies. BIIC is committed to building the "Four Rail Transits" and promoting the high-quality development of rail transit in the capital.

 

As of the end of 2023, the company’s total assets reached 874.733 billion yuan, with net assets amounting to 300.516 billion yuan. The total number of employees in the entire system is 8,424, and the cumulative net profit achieved is 28.465 billion yuan. In 2023, a total fixed asset investment of 49.416 billion yuan was completed, including 34.049 billion yuan for rail transit fixed assets. Funds for each project were timely and fully in place, resulting in actual financing savings of 4.179 billion yuan for the year. The total profit amounted to 2.419 billion yuan, with a net profit attributable to the parent company of 2.398 billion yuan. The domestic credit rating is AAA and the international credit rating is A+. BIIC will be based on the positioning of special function enterprises, adhering to the "cornerstone spirit", and continue to strive to promote the high-quality development of rail transit of the capital.
