Transport for winter season starts on November 15, 2014 and ends on March 15, 2015. The first day of winter season was a working day of institutional units, timetable for weekdays was applied at BJL4 & DXL, 2 special trains were added at morning peak hours. Entry/exit passenger at morning peak hours (07:00-09:00) at BJL4 was 150K, a 33% increase; 57K at DXL, a 24% increase; 12K at BJL14 West, a 40% increase. The overall operation is smooth and orderly.
BJMTR will monitor the trend of passenger flow intensively and adjust the train service arranged if needed including dispatch more special train trips to meet the demand. BJMTR made corresponding preparation to address typical passenger flow and weather in winter to ensure safe and orderly operation.
