As the first Public Private Partnership enterprise in metro sector involving Hong Kong investment in mainland China, at the eve of the 20th anniversary of the handover of Hong Kong to China, BJMTR issued a set of commemorative ticket for the 20th anniversary of the handover of Hong Kong to China publicly to celebrate the occasion and promote culture exchange between Beijing and Hong Kong.
The Commemorative Ticket for the 20th Anniversary of the Handover of Hong Kong to China is issued in a limited number of 4000 sets. Each set priced at RMB220 per set includes 5 single trip tickets. Passengers can get detail information via BJMTR official WeChat account at column “Fresh Info – Culture Product”. The commemorative ticket is valid for riding Beijing metro lines (Excl. Airport Express Line) within 3 months upon its issuance (June 19, 2017 – September 18, 2017).
In the same period, a public welfare project “Talents in the People – My Collection on Metro” devised by BJMTR devotes its 6th session on “The Most Hong Kong”. Tickets and Cards reflecting the development of Hong Kong or showing classic cartoon of Hong Kong provided by senior collectors are displayed at some BJL4 stations. Passengers can taste the flavor and appreciate the beauty of Hong Kong at Caishikou station and Renmin University station before August 14, 2017.
