In the afternoon of May 19, 2018, Mayor of Beijing Dr. Chen Jining met delegation of MTR headed by CEO Dr. Lincoln Leong.
Dr. Chen Jining welcomed the delegation. He said that MTR takes part in the construction and operation of several metro lines in Beijing, brings in international advanced management and service concept, therefore, MTR is an important cooperation partner in Beijing in rail transit sector. Currently, rail transit sector in Beijing is still in its rapid development, there are tremendous cooperation potentials. He expects MTR to continue to participate in the investment, construction and operation of Beijing metro projects and share its advanced experiences in TOD(Transport Oriented Development), transport station design, service quality enhancement and the optimization of metro network, extend and deepen its cooperation with Beijing and realize reciprocal cooperation at a higher level.
