To further strengthen the cleaning and disinfection of the metro environment and to better protect the safety of passengers and the staff, BJMTR has recently introduced the disinfection robot for hydrogen peroxide atomization from MTR Corporation to strengthen the deep disinfection of the environment such as the train compartment on the basis of the regular train cleaning and disinfection.
The disinfection robot disinfects the enclosed environment by automatically spraying atomized hydrogen peroxide disinfectant, which can penetrate the tiny gaps that cannot be manually disinfected. Compared to normal water spraying and wiping, it can eliminate viruses and bacteria more effectively. At the same time, hydrogen peroxide is a colorless and transparent liquid. After decomposition, it becomes water and oxygen, leaving no residue and has a better disinfection effect. The disinfection robot has passed relevant tests and achieved the expected results, which can provide better protection for passengers.
