A black and white intelligent inspection robot with a "360° rotating arm" was recently unveiled in BJMTR. It inspects the equipment in the cabinet of the substation through high-definition imaging camera, infrared thermal imager, and ultrasonic sensor, to improve the inspection efficiency and the reliability of the equipment, to further improve the travel experience of passengers.
To further improve the efficiency and accuracy of inspection work, and to level up the automation and intelligence of substation monitoring, in early February 2021, BJMTR piloted the intelligent inspection robot in Mabiapu depot substation, improving the quality of inspection in the guarantee of continuous and stable power supply.
