During May Day holiday, patronage of lines operated by BJMTR totals 7.169 million

The May Day holiday in 2021 will start on May 1 (Saturday) and end on May 5 (Wednesday).  During the holiday, lines operated by BJMTR carried a total of 7.169 million passenger trips, with the highest daily patronage appearing on May 1, when 1.567 million passenger trips were carried. During the holiday, 8,184 train trips were dispatched in total. To ensure the smooth travel of passengers, Line 4 added 56 temporary trains, carrying about 25,000 more passenger trips. The overall management of passenger transportation is stable and orderly on lines operated by BJMTR.

BJMTR has extended operation time on April 30, May 1, May 4 and May 5 to ensure the smooth transit of passengers in the area of Beijing South Railway.  Among them, on May 4 and May 5, the time of the last train of Beijing South Station of Line 4 and Dongfeng Beiqiao Station of Line 14 was extended to 2 AM into the next day to facilitate passengers to travel.
