At present, Daxing Line operated by BJMTR serves as the main line in Daxing District and is an important means of transportation for residents to commute and travel. At the same time, residents in Gu 'an and other surrounding cities will take the Daxing Line from Tiangong Yuan Station into the city. Since the Daxing Line was opened at the end of 2010 and connected with Line 4, the average daily patronage c has continued to rise. The daily average patronage of Daxing Line has reached 310,000. To ensure the smooth travel of passengers, BJMTR has continuously optimized its operation organization and has adjusted the headway of Line 4 and Daxing Line for more than 10 times.
To further enhance passenger travel experience, starting from May 8, 2021, Daxing Line will run a new timetable, and the minimum headway during morning peak hours on work days will be shortened from 2 minutes 40 seconds to 2 minutes. The measure will effectively relieve the pressure of passenger flow on Daxing Line during the morning peak hours and provide greater convenience for passengers. Daxing Line will become another line in Beijing to achieve a minimum headway of two minutes during rush hours.
