On December 31(Friday), 2021, the south section of Line 17, the remaining section of Line 14 and Yuyuantan Park East Gate Station of Line 16 operated by BJMTR opens.
On the day of the opening of the new line, Mr. Wilson Shao, general manager of BJMTR, along with other leaders of BJMTR also comes to Shilihe Station of Line 17, Lize Shangwuqu Station of Line 14 and Yuyuantan Park East Gate Station of Line 16 to meet passengers who take the new line on the first day. They communicate with residents and distributes gifts for passengers. Passengers expresses that they have been looking forward to the opening of the new line for a long time, and the opening of the new line will bring greater convenience to their travel.
