During the Spring Festival travel rush, to further improve the travel experience of passengers, Beijing Univ. of Tech. West Gate station of Line 14 pilots the optimization of signs in the station to help passengers travel conveniently.
BJMTR fully considers the travel needs of all types of passengers, and combines the actual situation of the station to add guidance signs on the ground and wall of the station platform and concourse, clearly marking the location of elevators and barrier-free passages, and facilitating the smooth travel of elderly, wheelchair and visually impaired passengers through bright yellow and large fonts sign which is more eye-catching. At the same time, the route guidance sign is marked on the ground in black font and clearly marks the distance of the elevator, so that the passengers in need can reasonably plan the travel route at a glance. In addition, larger and clearer safety elevator reminders have been posted next to the escalators to guide passengers to "hold tightly" when taking a ride, making it safer and more convenient for passengers to travel.
