During Dragon Boat Festival holiday, patronage of lines operated by BJMTR totals 4.169 million

During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday in 2023 (from June 22 to June 24), the patronage of lines operated by BJMTR totaled 4.169 million. Among which, the patronage of Line 4-Daxing reached 2.299 million, and the patronage of Line 14 reached 1.367 million. Patronage of Line 16 and Line 17 reached 0.393 million and 0.11 million respectively. 4,376 train trips are dispatched and passenger transport organization of all lines of BJMTR is stable and orderly, ensuring the smooth travel of passengers during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.

Beijing South Railway Station of Line 4 operated by BJMTR connects to Beijing South Railway Station. In order to facilitate the transportation connection between the two stations during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday and ensure smooth travel for passengers arriving in Beijing in the evening, from June 21 to June 25,the operating hours of Line 4 at Beijing South Station will be extended from June 21st to June 25th. The last train going from Beijing South Railway Station to Anheqiao Bei (N) Station will be extended to 23:53.  

Beijing South Railway Station of Line 14 operated by BJMTR connects to Beijing South Railway Station. Dongfeng Beiqiao station is close to Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station. In order to facilitate the transportation connection between the two stations, and ensure smooth travel for passengers arriving in Beijing in the evening, from June 24,the last train from Beijing South Railway Station is extended to 00:12 of the next day, and the last train from Beijing South Railway Station to Lize Shangwuqu station is extended to 00:33 of the next day. The last train of Dongfeng Beiqiao station to Shan’gezhuang station is extended to 11:58 pm to ensure smooth travel of passengers.

The last day of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday coincides with the first day of the Beijing Municipal High School Entrance Examination, and the stations operated by BJMTR provide priority services for candidates during the examination period. Candidates and their parents who take the metro to the examination venues can enjoy the "three priorities" services including priority entry, priority ticket purchase and priority security check, by presenting their admission ticket. At the same time, the stations operated by BJMTR are equipped with “Candidate Care Packages” containing stationery such as erasers, pens, rulers, as well as band-aids and cooling items to help candidates combat the heat. Candidates can receive these items free of charge by presenting their admission ticket. BJMTR sets up candidate service counters at the station near the examination venues, and the station staff has proactively gathered information of nearby schools around the station in advance and are familiar with the nearest entrances to the examination venues. They are actively assisting candidates in resolving the difficulties encountered in the station to ensure smooth travel for the candidates.
