The Dragon Boat Festival holiday in 2023 will start on Thursday, June 22nd and end on Saturday, June 24th. Based on the analysis of historical data and recent passenger flow conditions, it is expected that June 21 (the day before the holiday) will welcome the peak passenger flow before the holiday, and the passenger traffic of all lines of BJMTR will reach about 2.453 million on that day. During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday this year, the total patronage of all lines of BJMTR is expected to reach 5.154 million, and some tourist attractions, commercial centers, train stations, and transportation hubs surrounding the stations will experience an increase in passenger flow. Line 4-Daxing, Line 14, Line 16 and Line 17 of BJMTR have formulated various guarantee plans in advance, done a good job in the organization and arrangement of trains and the passenger flow guidance of large passenger flow stations, and ensured the safe and smooth travel of passengers during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.
In June, Beijing has entered the flood season, to ensure the safety and orderly operation of emergency transportation during the flood season, all stations of BJMTR have made station duty arrangements and strengthened inspections in accordance with the emergency plan formulated in advance. In the event of rainfall, each station will arrange staff to clean up the stagnant water at key parts such as entrances and exits in time, place anti-slip mats and anti-slip and signs in time, and prepare disposable raincoats to be distributed to passengers as needed. In the event of a flood situation, BJMTR will activate the flood control emergency response mechanism, and the staff of each line and station will organize and guide passengers timely to ensure passenger safety.
