As the flood season approaches in Beijing this yearBJMTR has launched flood prevention work in advance and formulated flood prevention plans to prepare for possible heavy rainfall during the flood season. The company has strengthened emergency drills, increased flood prevention and rescue personnel and materials, and the stations have strictly implemented the "one station, one map, and one plan" scheme to make thorough preparations for the flood season. BJMTR is fully committed to ensuring the safety and smooth travel of passengers by taking all necessary measures in advance for the flood season.

To ensure the safe travel of passengers during the flood season, BJMTR has set up a flood control emergency headquarters in advance, and at the same time, a total of 34 flood control emergency rescue teams have been set up according to their professional and job responsibilities, including vehicles, power supply, communication and signaling, electromechanical, civil engineering, etc. Nearly 6,000 people are on standby to deal with emergency situations during the flood season, ensuring smooth travel for passengers.

For the flood season, BJMTR has prepared and replenished flood control materials in advance, and has stored 24 types of flood control materials, including sandbags, flood control baffles, disposable raincoats, drainage pumps, emergency generators, and rescue vehicles, totaling 800,000 pieces, to ensure that flood control materials are sufficient.

In addition, BJMTR continued to carry out more than 1,100 comprehensive flood prevention emergency drills and professional special flood prevention emergency drills for station operation, passenger service, and maintenance, etc., to ensure the safe travel of passengers during the flood season.
