BJL4 Children University 2013 Wrapped, BJL4 Children University 2014 Rolled Out

Feb. 23, 2014, achievement exhibition of BJL4 Children University was held at Beijing Zoo station BJL4. At the beginning of the new year, BJMTR and Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press invited children and their parents who joined Children University 2013 to Beijing Zoo station of BJL4 to enjoy the outstanding works presented, passengers at the station are also invited to view the works. Projects planned in 2014 are also communicated.

At the event, representatives of children students talked about how he created the painting Tsinghua University after an exploration at Tsinghua University guided by experts invited by BJL4 Children University.  His father said he saw the enrolment advertisement at BJL4 last year and took his son to participate the activities. They explored ancient buildings in Yuanmingyuan, Tsinghua university and Beijing University. His son loves to observe various kinds of buildings. Experts at the activity gave them in-depth knowledge about these ancient buildings. He expressed that he will continue to participate projects in BJL4 Children University this year and appreciate the way teaching via pleasure.

Spokeswoman of BJMTR Ms. Yang Ling said that BJL4 Children University projects are significant, it broke the walls between universities and society, provided opportunities for children to communicate with experts directly and learn more professional knowledge on metro platform. It is an idea innovation in metro sector in China. It facilitated the development of children and created more social value.

Since the opening of BJL4, in addition to providing of safe and convenient transport services to passengers, BJMTR actively performs its social duties. It conducted a series of public welfare activities focusing on passenger safety, environment protection and culture. Via interesting interactive activities, it endeavors to foster a civilized and harmonious metro environment and facilitate the construction and development of communities along its lines.
