During the 40-day CNY season (Jan. 16 – Feb. 24), the 3 lines operated by BJMTR transported over 49 million passengers including 38.87 million at BJL4 (Average daily 972K, an increase of 2.6% compared to last year), 9.2million at DXL (Average daily 230K, an increase of 16.9% compared to last year) and 1.1 million at BJL14 (Average daily 28K). During this period, 24030 train trips including 75 special trips were arranged at BJL4-DXL, the average availability is 99.97% and the average punctuality is 99.99%; 14108 train trips were arranged at BJL14, the average availability and average punctuality are 100%. The operation is stable and orderly. These lines provided convenient and warm services to passengers.
During the CNY season, BJMTR enhanced monitoring of passenger flow, made proper deployment of capacity and strengthened technical resource at rolling stock and other facility disciplines, ensure safe, reliable and stable operation of all the systems, ensure safe traveling of citizens in all aspects. In the principle of every bag checked, every liquid checked and every suspect interrogated, security check was enhanced. Fire work, explosives and combustibles are screened strictly. In this season, 4733 forbidden items are intercepted.
