BJMTR takes the lead in piloting intelligent inspection robot

BJMTR developed intelligent inspection robot together with its partners and pioneered the pilot application in train maintenance, which is reported to be the first case in Beijing's rail transit industry. It integrates multiple advanced technologies such as walking robots, multi-degree-of-freedom robotic arms, AI image recognition, etc., and can autonomously inspect and measure key components under the train. It can also realize intelligent inspection of the undertrain, through a series of intelligent methods such as map creation, panoramic photography scanning, 3D digital image processing, 5G information feedback, and autonomous learning. In this way, the key visible components under the train are intelligently imaged and abnormal status judgment is carried out, to comprehensively improve the inspection efficiency and the reliability of train equipment, and further protect the safety of passengers.
