To ensure the smooth transportation service of Beijing South Railway Station during the summer travel season and the smooth travel of passengers arriving in Beijing at night, the municipal transportation department is overcoming difficulties such as short nighttime metro construction and maintenance time, heavy workload, and pressure to ensure peak hour services. During the summer travel season this year, the total patronage of the lines operated by BJMTR is expected to increase significantly compared with last year, reaching nearly 130 million, seeing an increase of about 43.6% compared with 2022.
