Red Leave Festival at Fragrant Hill 2013 is from October 12 to November 11. BJL4 Beigongmen station is the gateway for visitors who taking metro to the site. Data of previous years shows patronage increased about 12% on weekdays and 50% at weekend during the event.
BJMTR forecasted that the patronage will be 61.9K and 69.5K on weekdays and weekend respectively, the same level as previous years. The peak will be on October 19 (Saturday), October 20 (Sunday), October 26 (Saturday) and October 27 (Sunday). The highest patronage will reach 100K.
To ensure smooth travel of the visitors to the event, since the beginning of September, exercise on passenger tide control was conducted several times at the station. The exercises were focused on measures to guide passengers enter and exit the station. During the Red Leave Festival, the station will monitor the passenger flow closely, deploy more people at concourse, platform, escalators, TVM and AFC gate to assist and guide passengers; Notice was posted in advance and information was announced to passengers via PIS to give direction to the passengers. Temporary limiting of passenger flow will be actuated when it is necessary.
